Walkie Reach Stackers
Walkie reach stacker trucks provide versatility for transporting, stacking, and racking materials on a wide variety of pallets, skids, and containers.
Loads that are wider than the outrigger I.D. can be lifted or placed beyond the ends of the outrigger legs by extending the pantographic fork carriage forward.
The pantograph must be in the retracted position during travel.
The capacity rating of the truck is with the pantograph in the extended position.
Walkie reach stacker trucks are not recommended for truck dock work where truck entry requires traveling across dockboards or dock levelers due to the low underclearance under the outrigger legs and frame which can result in hang-ups.
Operators of walkie trucks must be trained, evaluated, and certified by the employer prior to operating a powered industrial truck per OSHA 1910.178 (l) (1).
